We expect our Members of Congress to always be working for us - America's families- and we're here to make sure they do.   We are driven by real progressive values and issues of economic and community security.

WFU PAC is not only going to name names, we're going to take action.  Serious action. We'll be communicating directly with constituents through direct mail, e-mail, the media, the blogosphere and netroots.  No bad vote will be overlooked or unpunished, and no bad vote will pass without these questions being raised:

  • Does this Member deserve to be reelected? 
  • Can we do better?

And, even more than that, offending Members can expect not only bad publicity back home, but also primary challengers -- well-funded, well-organized, well-prepared primary challengers.

It is a new day. The new Democratic majorities in Congress should benefit average Americans.

There is no excuse for that behavior. There is especially no excuse for those Members who have strong Democratic districts, but still vote against the interests of their working-class constituents - those are the worst offenders.

Democrats and Republicans who vote against the progressive agenda should consider finding a new line of work - and Working For Us PAC will make that very clear.  Please join our fight.   Until now these Democrats (in name only) have been able to stray because they knew there were no consequences for their actions -

  • There was no organized effort to publicize in their districts how they were voting:
  • They rarely faced viable primary challengers;
  • They knew they would be "the lesser of two evils" for progressives when they ran in November -- frequently against ultra-right Republicans; and so
  • They knew that regardless of how they voted, they would get the support of the Democratic Party and its allies in the end.

It's happened time after time...but those days are over.
